Mental Performance Consulting
While physical performance and health play a large role in finding success, the mental and psychological aspect cannot be overlooked. Athletes, CEOs, parents, and others often find that their mental state affects their performance and vice versa. This can result in anxiety, burnout, loss of confidence, poor communication and more.
At Performance, our highly qualified mental performance consultants help clients address anxiety and stress management, practice conflict resolution, create routines, improve sleep and recovery, and set goals, among other key issues. Clients will learn how to identify when issues occur, as well as learn relaxation techniques, accountability, mindfulness, meditation, breath work, resilience, looking at situations from different perspectives, and more. From turning negative thoughts into productive ones to consistently completing daily check-ins with yourself, our consultants will help clients learn skills and tools they can use in all aspects of life to improve their mental game.

The Performance Difference
Each session is tailored to the individual’s unique goals, helping them build and strengthen mental skills that translate into better performance, resilience, and confidence in their sport or professional life.
Part 1: Initial Check-In
The session begins with a brief check-in to assess the current state of the athlete or client. If this is not the first session, there will be a review of any previous work done, including mental strategies or exercises assigned.
Part 2: Core Focus Area
Depending on the client’s needs, the practitioner might: teach specific mental strategies; engage in guided exercises; address mindset issues; or explore self-awareness to help the client understand how their mental state impacts performance.
Part 3: Interactive Practice
Clients will have an opportunity to practice mental skills or strategies in a real-world or simulated environment.
Part 4: Action Plan
The session concludes with a reflection on the strategies discussed and a plan for moving forward. The client will receive specific, actionable takeaways, such as mental exercises to continue practicing.
